Doc-AI started as a personal trading tool I built because I was frustrated with the gap between what institutional traders get and what retail traders can afford.
I have been trading retail accounts since 2007: options, equities, futures. I kept running into the same wall: the tools that actually work (Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, institutional-grade order flow data) cost $25,000+ per year. Everything in my price range was either lagging data, oversimplified charts, or screeners that surfaced the same obvious signals everyone else was already acting on.
I am a software engineer by trade. So I built my own.
What started as a personal Python script that pulled alternative datasets and institutional flow signals grew into a full-stack terminal with proprietary signal pipelines, live options flow, supply chain intelligence, multi-broker execution, and now a full mobile app. Doc-AI is named after my dog. He is very good.
This is a solo project. No VC money, no marketing team, no growth hackers. Just a builder who trades and a genuine belief that the tools institutional traders use every day should cost $29/month, not $49,000/year.

On May 12, 2026, Doc — the Blue Weimaraner whose name and spirit live on in this product — passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, at 16 and a half years old.
He lived an extraordinary life. Most Weimaraners don't make it past 12; Doc gave us four and a half more years than anyone expected, and he spent them the way he spent all of them — curious, loyal, and always at the door when someone came home.
Doc-AI carries his name because the qualities we wanted to build into a trading terminal were the ones he showed every day: patience, loyalty, and a stubborn refusal to chase things he didn't understand. Sit. Stay. Profit.wasn't just a tagline — it was him.
He is, and always will be, the dog at the heart of this company.
